I hope you are all having a very sweet, fluffy, wintery, snowy sort of week… because that pretty much sums up our song of the week!
Marshmallow World is a good old fashioned Bing Crosby Christmas hit, written for him in 1949. If you, like me, had never heard it before, you should definitely give it a listen. The music and lyrics are all gooey, yummy, happy wintery bliss, and should definitely be added to your repertoire list for this time of the year. There are lots of nice lyrical visuals and metaphors that make a snowy winter desirable as only Bing Crosby can. And it makes no mention of Christmas, so go ahead and keep this one in your brain for the next month or so. I’m hoping to make a cover video this week, feel free to share your own as well!
